Small business websites

Small business website design, live in 7 working days.

SiteDone builds and hosts websites for Australian small businesses from $89 a month, live within 7 working days of us getting your details. Talk us through the business in a voice note and we write and build the pages from it. No meetings, no briefs to write, and the domain is in your name from day one. If the site has not brought you a real lead within 90 days, your billing pauses until it does (on the Core Hub and Local Dominator plans).

$0 setup fee, 2 of 3 build slots open right now.

Where your small business enquiries quietly go missing

Most of what a website costs a business is invisible. Few people email to tell you they looked and moved on.

People look you up before they get in touch

Someone gets your name from a friend, then searches it before they call. Whatever they find in those ten seconds is your first impression, and it often decides whether they make contact or keep looking. For a lot of businesses that is the only sales conversation that ever happens.

You're being compared, whether you like it or not

Most people do not contact just one business anymore. They open three tabs, skim all three, and get in touch with the one that answered their questions without making them hunt. Being the clearest is worth more than being the cheapest.

A social page is not a website

It helps your online presence until someone wants your hours, your pricing, your service area or a way to enquire at 9pm. You also do not own it, you are harder to find through search on it, and the rules change without asking you.

The site you have was never finished

It went up in a hurry, half the pages say Coming Soon, and the contact form goes to an inbox nobody has opened in a year. It is quietly costing you enquiries you never hear about.

How we build it

What small business website design has to do to earn an enquiry

The look is the easy part of web design. These are the four things that decide whether someone gets in touch.

Built for the enquiry, not the impulse

Your customers usually read before they act, so the site is structured to answer the questions that come before contact: what you do, who you do it for, what it costs, what happens next. The enquiry sits wherever the reader is ready to make it.

Says plainly who you are

Credentials, experience, the areas you cover and real proof, stated where people look for them rather than buried on an About page. That is how a site starts to build trust before anyone gets in touch.

Findable for what you actually do

Page structure, headings, local signals and schema are done during the build, not sold to you afterwards as an SEO package. Your main services can have their own pages, so each one can be found on its own terms. Core Hub includes two or three suburb or service pages and Local Dominator five to ten. On Starter your services share one Services page.

Changes without starting a project

New service, updated pricing, a change of hours? Send a voice note, a message or an email and it is done. No ticket system, no developer to book, no quote for twenty minutes of work.

The full five steps, from picking a plan to going live, are on the how it works page. You can also look through the demo sites to see the build standard.

Small business FAQs

Frequently asked questions about small business websites

More on the full FAQ page if yours is not here.

What counts as a small business here?

Broadly, a team of around 15 or fewer whose customers find them through search or word of mouth. Above that you usually need things we deliberately do not build, like customer logins, bookings tied into other software, or custom integrations.

I already have a website. Is it worth replacing?

It depends on whether yours is slow, hard to update, or missing the pages people search for. If it loads fast, ranks for what you do and you can change it yourself easily, keep it. We will tell you that rather than sell you a rebuild.

Do I need more than a few pages?

Not necessarily. Plenty of small business owners do well on three to five pages that answer the obvious questions properly. More pages help when you offer distinct products or services, or cover several areas, since each one can then be found on its own.

Can you write the content for me?

Yes, that is the normal way it works. You talk us through the business in a voice note and we write the pages from it, then you review the draft before anything goes live with two rounds of changes included.

What if I need something more complicated later?

Tell us and we will say honestly whether it is something we do. We would rather point you somewhere better than take the money and build something we are not set up to support.

What happens if I stop paying?

After your first 3 months you can cancel with 30 days' notice and no exit fee. The domain is yours either way. Your site stays live until your paid month ends, then we keep it in backup for 6 months so you can restore it. After 9 paid months you can take the site with you at no charge.

What if work goes quiet for a while?

After your first 3 months you can pause billing for a month if work goes quiet or you are closed for a stretch. The site stays live. One pause every 12 months.
