How much does an accountant website cost?
+–
Web design for accountants starts at $89 a month. Core Hub is $129 and Local Dominator is $199. Setup is $0 right now. Prices are in AUD and charged monthly. We're not currently registered for GST, so none is added. The $49 domain registration and any add-ons are separate. After the first 3 months from go-live it is month to month, with 30 days' notice.
Will clients find me when they search "accountant near me"?
+–
No site can promise a spot, and anyone who does is guessing. Many clients still look for an accountant close by, even when the work can be done remotely. What we do is build your site so Google can read it properly: your services, your registration details and the areas you work in. Local searches lean heavily on your Google listing, so on Core Hub and Local Dominator we link your Google Business Profile, and if you don't have one, we help you set one up and walk you through Google's verification. Core Hub includes two or three suburb or service pages and Local Dominator five to ten, which give you more places to be found. On Starter your areas are listed on the main pages instead.
Can I have a separate page for each service, like tax returns, BAS and bookkeeping?
+–
On the larger plans, yes. Core Hub includes two or three suburb or service pages and Local Dominator five to ten, so your main services can each have their own page. On Starter your services share one Services page.
Can you write the content? I don't have time to.
+–
Yes, that is the normal way it works. You talk us through the practice in a voice note and we write the pages from it, then you review the draft with two rounds of changes before anything goes live.
Can I show my registration and professional membership?
+–
Yes, and it belongs near the top rather than in the footer. For a regulated profession those details are part of what prospective clients are assessing, not fine print. If you are a registered tax or BAS agent, you can show the Tax Practitioners Board registered tax practitioner symbol on your site. The TPB asks that it comes with your registration number and type of registration, so send us those with your details and we will add them.
Should I publish my fees?
+–
That is your call and there are good arguments both ways. Publishing a starting point or a fixed-fee range filters out enquiries you did not want; keeping it private keeps the conversation open. We will build it either way.
Can the site handle seasonal changes, like end of financial year?
+–
Yes. A seasonal banner, a deadline reminder or a temporary page counts towards your monthly change time, which is 20 min on Starter, 40 min on Core Hub and 60 min on Local Dominator.
Do I need a booking system or a client portal?
+–
We do not build those, and we would rather say so upfront. If a portal or integrated booking is essential to how you work, you need something more custom than SiteDone.
How quickly can it be live?
+–
Your new website can be live in seven working days from when your details reach us, not from when you subscribe. No monthly fees until your site is live. The $49 domain registration is separate.
