Small business websites

Restaurant website design that keeps the menu right.

SiteDone builds and hosts websites for Australian restaurants and cafes from $89 a month, live within 7 working days of us getting your details. The menu and the hours are the two things people actually come for, so they load fast, read without pinching to zoom, and get updated by voice note instead of by whoever set the site up three years ago. Tell us about the venue and we build the rest.

$0 setup fee, 2 of 3 build slots open right now.

Sound familiar?

What people came to your site for

Almost nobody browses a restaurant site. They arrive with one question and leave the moment they have the answer, or do not.

The menu on the site is not the menu

Prices moved, two dishes came off, the specials changed with the season. Updating it means finding the person who built the site, so the PDF from eighteen months ago stays up and people order from it.

Your hours are wrong somewhere

They live on the site, on Google, on a booking platform and on social, and they only ever agree by accident. A customer who drives over on a public holiday you were closed does not come back.

The phone rings through service

Every call during a dinner rush is someone asking whether you take walk-ins, whether there is parking, or whether the kitchen is still open. All of it is answerable on a page, and none of it is on one.

A PDF menu on a phone

It opens in a viewer, loads slowly on venue wifi, and needs pinching and dragging to read. That is one of the first things people try to do on your site, made harder than it needs to be.

How it works

One voice note, live in 7 working days

You stay in the kitchen. We write the pages, build the site and set up the search groundwork.

The menu as real text, not a PDF

Readable at a glance on a phone, loading fast on bad reception, and readable by search engines and AI assistants rather than locked inside a file. Sections for the parts of the day you serve.

Hours in one place, changed by voice note

Trading hours, kitchen hours and public holiday closures on the page, updated by sending a message. No hunting for a login the week before Christmas.

The questions that interrupt service

Walk-ins, parking, dietary options, whether you do functions, how big a group you can take. Answered on the page so the phone rings less during the rush.

Links out to whatever you already use

Ordering, delivery and booking stay with the platform you are on. We point people at it clearly rather than pretending to replace it, and if you switch platforms it is a message, not a rebuild.

The full five steps are on the how it works page.

Have a look at the build standard

This is a demo rather than client work, and the business in it is made up. Real client sites will replace it as they go live.

There is no client portfolio here yet, and we would rather say so than pad the page with logos we have not earned.

Prices are in AUD and charged monthly. We're not currently registered for GST, so none is added. The $49 domain registration and any add-ons are separate.

What happens if it doesn't work

The commitments that come with every build, not just the good-news version.

  • Live in 7 working days

Seven working days of our build time, counted from when we have everything we need. Miss it and your first month is free.

  • 90 days to a real lead, or billing pauses

If no real lead reaches you within 90 days of going live, billing pauses and resumes the moment a lead comes in.

On the Core Hub and Local Dominator plans, with a verified Google Business Profile.

  • 3 months to start, then month to month

No long-term contract. After your first 3 months, 30 days' notice to cancel and no exit fee. Your domain is yours from day one.

Quiet month? After your first 3 months you can pause billing for a month. Your site stays live.

The 7 working days counts our build time only, so it pauses while we are waiting on you, and anything reaching us before 12pm Melbourne time (AEST/AEDT) counts as arriving that working day. All five guarantees, and their limits, are on the guarantee page.

FAQs

Questions venues ask

More on the full FAQ page if yours is not here.

How do I change the menu when prices move?

Send a voice note, a message or a photo of the new menu and we make the change. Every plan includes monthly change time, from 20 minutes a month up to 60 depending on the plan, and a price update is a small job.

Can you set up online ordering or delivery?

No, we do not build ordering or delivery systems, and we would rather be upfront about it. Your site links out clearly to whatever platform you already use, and if you change platforms later that is a message to us rather than a rebuild.

Can people book a table through the site?

Not directly. We link to the booking platform you already run, or to your phone number if you take bookings yourself. Building a reservation system is outside what SiteDone does.

What about public holiday hours?

Send them through and they go up. Holiday closures and changed kitchen hours are typical monthly changes for a venue, and they are exactly the sort of thing worth getting right.

Should the menu be a PDF?

We would strongly suggest not. A PDF has to be downloaded, opens in a viewer, and needs pinching to read on a phone, which is where most people are looking at it. As real text on the page it loads quickly and can be read by search engines and AI assistants.

Do I need photos of the food?

They help a lot, and phone photos in good daylight are usually fine. If you do not have any we build with what is available, and photos can be added later as a normal monthly change.
