Privacy policy
Last updated 8 October 2026. SiteDone is operated by Deep Chandra Singh Chilwal, trading as SiteDone and Leap Digital (ABN 26 199 619 080). We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
How your information is handled
What we collect, why, who else sees it, and how to have it corrected or removed.
What we collect
When you sign up, we collect the details you provide: your name, business name, contact details, and the information and voice note you send us about your business, used to build your site. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe; they never reach or pass through SiteDone's own systems.
How we use it
We use your information to build and maintain your website, communicate with you about your account and build, and send transactional emails (build updates, confirmations, and account-related messages). After you cancel we may email you about restoring your site during the 6 month backup window. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop at policies@sitedone.com.au. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Website analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site. This does not include recording or monitoring phone calls. We do not do that. We do count taps on phone numbers on our customers' sites, described below.
Enquiries sent through our customers' sites
When someone sends an enquiry through a website we run for a business, we collect the details they enter (usually name, phone, email and message), the page they were on and the time. We use them to pass the enquiry to the business, to filter out spam, to check whether the business's lead guarantee applies, and to support the business. We also count taps on phone numbers on those sites. We do not record or monitor phone calls. To avoid counting the same person twice in a day, we use a one-way code that changes every day and cannot be traced back to you. We do not store your IP address.
The business, SiteDone and our hosting and email providers (Cloudflare and Resend) can see this information. We do not use it to send our own marketing.
We keep it while the business is our customer, and for 6 months after they cancel, then we delete it. You can ask us for a copy of your details or ask us to delete them sooner by contacting us.
Third-party services we use
- Stripe — payment processing (card details never touch our own systems)
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and security (including our database and file storage)
- Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager — website analytics
Some of these providers may process data outside Australia as part of their standard operations.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, and afterward as required to meet our legal and tax obligations (Australian Taxation Office record-keeping requirements are typically 5 years for most businesses). After you cancel we keep a backup of your site for 6 months, then delete it unless you restore it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to future communications, by emailing policies@sitedone.com.au.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us first at policies@sitedone.com.au. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
