How much does an electrician website cost?
+–
Plans start at $89 a month, and each plan is one fixed monthly price. Core Hub is $129 and Local Dominator is $199. Setup is $0 right now. Prices are in AUD and charged monthly. We're not currently registered for GST, so none is added. The $49 domain registration and any add-ons are separate. After the first 3 months from go-live it is month to month, with 30 days' notice.
Will I show up when someone searches "electrician near me"?
+–
No site can promise a spot, and anyone who does is guessing. What we do is build your site so Google can read it properly: your services, your licence details and the areas you cover. Near me searches lean heavily on your Google listing, so on Core Hub and Local Dominator we link your Google Business Profile, and if you don't have one, we help you set one up and walk you through Google's verification. Core Hub includes two or three suburb or service pages and Local Dominator five to ten, which give you more places to be found. On Starter your areas are listed on the main pages instead.
Can I show that I do emergency and after-hours callouts?
+–
Yes, and it should be near the top. When the power is out, people want to know who can come now before anything else. Your after-hours availability and tap-to-call sit up front, not buried on a services page.
Can I show my licence on my site?
+–
Yes, and in most states you need to. Electrical contractors are generally required to show their licence number in their advertising, and that includes a website. Send us your licence number with your other details and we will put it somewhere prominent, along with your insurance details if you want them shown. You stay responsible for holding the right licence and for what your state requires, so check the exact rules for your state before you send it over.
I do both domestic and commercial. Can the site handle both?
+–
Yes. If you are an electrical contractor doing both, it works better when they are kept separate. Each gets its own path through the site so a homeowner and a builder are not reading the same page and skimming past most of it.
Can I add EV charger installs or solar later?
+–
Yes. New or updated pages count towards your monthly change time, which is 20 min on Starter, 40 min on Core Hub and 60 min on Local Dominator. If you want several new pages, a larger plan gives you more pages and more change time.
Will the site help me get commercial work, not just callouts?
+–
It can, because commercial clients research more than homeowners do. Showing the scale of work you take on, your compliance and the sectors you have worked in is what a builder or facilities manager looks for.
Do I need photos of jobs?
+–
Helpful but not required. Clean switchboard work photographs well and builds confidence, but if you have none we build with what is available and it is not a hold-up.
How quickly can it be live?
+–
Seven working days from when your details reach us, not from when you subscribe. No monthly fees until your site is live. The $49 domain registration is separate. A busy fortnight does not change that.
