Carpenter website design that shows the work.

SiteDone builds and hosts websites for Australian carpenters and chippies from $89 a month, live within 7 working days of us getting your details. Carpentry sells on what the last job looked like, so the site is built around your photos rather than around paragraphs. Send a voice note about the work you take on, and the photos off your phone, and we build the rest.

$0 setup fee, 2 of 3 build slots open right now.

Sound familiar?

Why good carpentry work stays invisible

Most carpenters have the proof sitting on their phone and nowhere to put it.

The photos are all on your phone

Years of decks, pergolas, staircases and fitouts, sitting in a camera roll where nobody can see them. The one place a customer looks before calling is the one place none of it appears.

Chippie means five different jobs

Framing, decking, renovations, built-in joinery, formwork. Someone wanting a deck cannot tell from a generic services list whether you do decks or whether you do commercial framing and would rather not.

You are quoting off a two-line message

Nothing on the site tells people what you need to know, so most enquiries arrive as "how much for a deck" and turn into three days of back and forth about size, materials and access.

Builders and homeowners want different things

A builder is checking whether you can hold a schedule and work to plan. A homeowner is checking whether the finish looks good and whether you turn up. One page speaking to both often convinces neither.

How it works

One voice note, live in 7 working days

You stay on the tools. We write the pages, build the site and do the search groundwork.

Built around your photos

Phone photos are fine and usually better than staged ones. The layout is designed for them, so the work carries the page instead of sitting in a gallery nobody opens.

Pages for your main kinds of work

Decks, pergolas, renovations, joinery: your main kinds of work can have their own pages, so each can be found on its own and reads like it was written for that job. Core Hub includes two or three suburb or service pages and Local Dominator five to ten. On Starter your services share one Services page.

Enquiries that arrive with detail

The questions you always end up asking, asked once in writing: rough size, materials, access, and when they want it done. Fewer callbacks just to work out what the job is.

Separate paths for trade and domestic

Builders and homeowners get their own route through the site, each answering what that customer is actually assessing.

The full five steps are on the how it works page.

See it first

See a carpenter website before you sign up

This is a demo rather than client work, and the business in it is made up. Real client sites will replace it as they go live.

Carpenter

Photo-led, because carpentry sells on what the last job looked like.

Carpenters demo site, built the same way yours would be. Open it on a phone, because that is where many of your customers will first find you.

There is no client portfolio here yet, and we would rather say so than pad the page with logos we have not earned.

What happens if it doesn't work

The commitments that come with every build, not just the good-news version.

  • Live in 7 working days

Seven working days of our build time, counted from when we have everything we need. Miss it and your first month is free.

  • 90 days to a real lead, or billing pauses

If no real lead reaches you within 90 days of going live, billing pauses and resumes the moment a lead comes in.

On the Core Hub and Local Dominator plans, with a verified Google Business Profile.

  • 3 months to start, then month to month

No long-term contract. After your first 3 months, 30 days' notice to cancel and no exit fee. Your domain is yours from day one.

Quiet month? After your first 3 months you can pause billing for a month. Your site stays live.

The 7 working days counts our build time only, so it pauses while we are waiting on you, and anything reaching us before 12pm Melbourne time (AEST/AEDT) counts as arriving that working day. All five guarantees, and their limits, are on the guarantee page.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions about carpenter websites

More on the full FAQ page if yours is not here.

Are phone photos good enough?

Yes, and they are usually better than staged shots because they look like real work. Daylight helps and a clear shot of the finished job beats a dozen half-finished ones. Send what you have and we build around it.

Can I add photos as I finish jobs?

Yes, that is a normal monthly change. Send them through and they go up, and every plan includes change time, from 20 minutes a month up to 60 depending on the plan.

I do both trade and domestic work. Can the site handle both?

Yes, and it works better when they are separated. A builder checking whether you can hold a schedule and a homeowner checking whether the finish looks good are assessing different things.

Do I need a page for every type of job?

Not on the smaller plans, and not always. Two or three job types done properly beat ten thin pages. If you have distinct work that people search for separately, each one earning its own page helps.

I am not licensed for structural work. Does that matter on the site?

It matters that the site says what you do take on, so you are not fielding enquiries you have to turn down. Being specific costs you nothing and saves you phone calls. Several states license carpentry work above a set job value, and some require the licence number on advertising, including websites. Send us the details you want shown and we will put them where people look, and you stay responsible for holding the right licence and keeping it current.

What if I am flat out and cannot get to the voice note?

That is fine, and it is why the 7 working days clock starts when your details reach us rather than when you subscribe. No monthly fees until your site is live. The $49 domain registration is separate. A busy fortnight does not change that.
